Who am I?

I am a white, cis-gendered, married female. I go by she/her.  I spent my first 40 years going to school and starting a family.  I became a dietitian and worked at a local health department.  Later I worked for a consulting company in nursing homes and for dialysis patients.   As I reached my middle 40's I felt drawn to do some personal healing work. One issue I began to address was my history of a bulimia in college. My personal work led me on a wonderful path of healing. I added many tools to my tool box including intuitive eating, mindful self-compassion and parts work - first as active imagination and later with the Internal Family System model (IFS). I really connected with the IFS model and loved the non-shaming nature and healing perspective this model provides.  My journey over the past 12 years has also been spiritual and I have been drawn to body healing work like conscious dance and Reiki healing.  I became a Reiki Master teacher as well.  Currently, I am self-employed. My goal is to help people connect to their loving inner leader (SELF energy) through presence, compassionate inner connection, and loving action.
